Accessibility

Music tools should work for more ways of thinking and playing.

Access is a product requirement

DRUMOJO is designed for musicians working at a desk, behind a kit, in a classroom or backstage. Our intended baseline is readable language, consistent keyboard operation, visible focus, clear error messages, responsive layouts, reduced-motion support and alternatives to sound-only cues.

Accessibility is not certified by this statement. Full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance and assistive-technology acceptance require systematic testing of the deployed application, including older workstations.

Keyboard, touch and sound

Use the Skip to content link at the start of the page. Forms provide visible labels and error messages; navigation is designed to work without hover-only menus. A physical MIDI or audio device may require browser permissions and cannot be promised on every phone.

Where a task relies on a click, flash, timer or visual chart, an accessible design should provide understandable text and a user-controlled alternative. Do not rely on automatic live hardware cues for safety.

Language, processing and sensory choice

This information collection has English and Spanish views. The wider DRUMOJO application already includes bilingual components, but universal EN/ES parity across legacy workstations remains subject to acceptance tests.

Progressive disclosure, predictable actions and keeping records across sessions are intended to reduce cognitive load. Users should be able to choose their own practice tempo, sound level and visual density where the workstation supports those controls.

Report a barrier

Please describe the page, device, browser, assistive technology used and what you were trying to accomplish. Do not send passwords or payment-card details. The existing support route records accessibility requests for follow-up.

If an important operation is inaccessible, request an equivalent route through support while the defect is investigated.
